Resources and local publishing
In its December 2024 review, LIT reported more than 35,095 books distributed during the year, including Bibles and resources for preaching, discipleship, evangelism, prayer, and Christian growth. The figure belongs to this historical report and is not an additional amount to add to later cumulative totals.
LIT Publications reported four books published locally in Nigeria during the year. The review also described the Yoruba edition of Name Above All Names as in its final printing stage, with delivery expected later in December. Expected delivery should not be read as confirmed receipt.
Learning for the long term
The review gave thanks for the first Pastors Reading Program cohorts and for five pastors supported in M.Div. study. With its training partners, LIT reported more than 500 hours of training and discipleship during the year.
Training hours are a measure of activity, not a count of unique students or graduates.
People and practical care
The ministry’s support team grew with two translators and a coordinator for Northern Nigeria operations. The review also remembered food assistance to families through the mercy ministry.
For fuller accounts of specific developments, read the mercy and translation update and the theological learning announcement.
