A hunger for faithful biblical teaching

Before the summer conferences, a pastor’s desire to travel from Adamawa illustrated the demand for sound teaching and fellowship.

A pastor seeking teaching and fellowship

Before LIT’s summer 2026 conferences, a pastor from Adamawa State contacted the team about attending the gathering in Kaduna. The June newsletter described a road journey of approximately twelve hours, alongside concerns about security in parts of the region.

He had registered because he wanted sound biblical teaching and fellowship with like-minded pastors. The update did not report the eventual outcome of his journey.

Preparing for the summer gatherings

LIT planned pastors conferences in Lagos, Abuja, and Kaduna around the theme “Revival According to Scripture,” alongside a Bible seminar on understanding God’s Word.

The purpose was to direct attention to Scripture and encourage dependence on God through faithful preaching, earnest prayer, and the work of His Spirit.

Partnership in local ministry

The planned mission also included visits with missionary pastors, interns, and local church partners. The newsletter invited prayer for safe travel, fruitful teaching, and lasting growth in congregations.

This article preserves the perspective of the June 2026 update, before the trip. For what was subsequently reported, read the summer mission update.
