Resources at the beginning of theological study
LIT’s August 2025 mid-year update reported that 2,000 copies of the Reformation Study Bible, Student Edition, had been distributed to first-year students across ten theological seminaries in Northern Nigeria and to students in informal training ministries.
The ministry’s hope was that the resources would support a lifetime of study and service, beginning with the readers’ preparation for ministry.
Reading and theological learning continue
The update reported that six pastors had completed the Pastors Reading Program, reading 15 books and submitting written reviews of ten. Other participants were progressing through the remaining books. These were completion figures reported at that stage, not the program’s final or current total.
Five pastors in the M.Div. learning partnership were also described as completing their first year of study. For the earlier announcement, read about the program’s beginning.
A shipment moving into distribution
LIT reported that an April 2025 shipment in a 20-foot container had carried more than 20,000 books and more than 3,000 Study Bibles. Distribution was underway at the time of the update.
Those shipment figures are not a completed-distribution count, and the student resources and other period figures may overlap. They should not be summed as separate additions to the ministry’s resource total.
