Learning that reshapes ministry

In December 2024, LIT shared several recipients’ reflections on biblical resources. One participant in the Pastors Reading Program described ongoing learning and reconsideration of ministry practices in the light of Scripture.

He highlighted Nine Marks of a Healthy Church and Name Above All Names as helpful in thinking about church health and the person of Christ.

Study Bibles in use

A seminary student described how the Reformation Study Bible’s notes and collected confessions broadened his understanding. Other readers reported using it in personal study, group devotions, and sermon preparation.

Passing learning on

A follow-up appeal on December 27 included an unnamed pastor’s account of using Preaching Christ in All of Scripture to help train teachers in his church. He connected access to books with the ability to teach others more clearly.
