Testimony

Reading that becomes encouragement for other pastors

Ben’s testimony described how books from the Pastors Reading Program supported his own ministry and his discipleship of other pastors.

A pastor strengthened through reading

In December 2025, LIT shared Ben’s account of the Pastors Reading Program. Serving in Northern Nigeria, he described how access to biblical books had helped his preaching, theological understanding, and confidence in ministry.

He particularly highlighted Name Above All Names and its influence on both his preaching and writing.

Passing resources and learning on

Ben was also using the books to disciple other pastors. His account illustrated how a resource received for personal study could become a tool for encouraging fellow ministers.

The newsletter placed his story in the context of service amid insecurity and pressure. It did not provide a count of the pastors he discipled or establish a separate new distribution total.

One account, two audiences

LIT sent versions of Ben’s story to its general audience and monthly supporters on the same day. They describe the same participant and are represented by this single article, with fundraising language omitted.
