The first English and Yoruba editions
By July 2024, LIT reported distributing the first 10,000 copies of Paul Washer’s Ihinrere Jesu Kristi, the Yoruba translation of The Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the first 5,000 copies of the English edition.
These 15,000 copies reached readers through individuals, church outreach, Bible-study fellowships, and university ministries. A church in Ibadan also shared 150 copies through prison ministry. That example belongs within the wider distribution account, not an additional total.
A resource used in evangelism
The newsletter shared Otu Oluwagbemiga’s account of using the Yoruba booklet in outreach in Abeokuta. He described its value in explaining the gospel clearly in the language of the people the church was seeking to reach.
A Hausa printing completed
LIT also announced that the first 10,000 copies of Bisharar Yesu Kristi, the Hausa translation, had been printed. Distribution across Northern Nigeria was still ahead in that report; printed copies should not be treated as already delivered to readers.
The September update subsequently described Hausa distribution in the North-West and North-Central regions.
These historical project figures overlap other period reports and are not amounts to add to LIT’s current cumulative resource total.
