The February 2024 update reported publisher approval for the Hausa Gospel booklet and continuing theological learning and outreach in Abuja.

Preparing a Hausa edition

In February 2024, LIT reported that the Hausa translation of Paul Washer’s The Gospel of Jesus Christ was complete and had received Reformation Heritage Books’ approval to print in January.

English and Yoruba editions were already being shared through conferences, Bible-study fellowships, and university outreach. Printing and distributing the Hausa edition remained the next stage at the time of this update. The July report later recorded the first Hausa printing.

Learning and service in Abuja

The newsletter also described pastoral interns at Trinity Baptist Church in Abuja teaching students in a secondary school while continuing their preparation for ministry.

LIT supported theological study through a learning-community arrangement, including tuition support. A March follow-up emphasized the importance of sustaining that education; it did not report that the students had graduated or that their studies had ended.

Prayer for faithful ministry

The issue remembered Osagie Azeta’s preaching, children’s outreach, seminars, and church-planting service in Lagos. Its focus was on connecting practical support with faithful teaching in local congregations.

Adapted from the corrected February 29, 2024 newsletter and its duplicate send, with related learning-community context from December 30, 2023 and March 25, 2024. These describe historical arrangements, not current partnerships, enrollment, or fundraising needs.
