Prayer for the year ahead
Sent at the end of January, LIT’s February 2026 guide invited prayer for wisdom, discernment, and faithful ministry in the year ahead. It described resources received through partner generosity and the intention to ship them to Nigeria for conferences, institutions, and outreach.
Pastors and churches
The guide remembered preaching, evangelism, prison ministry, radio ministry, and the strengthening of congregations connected with LIT’s work. It asked for more laborers, growth in maturity, and wisdom for local church leaders.
Preparing men for service
LIT also asked for prayer for the beginning of a pastors mentorship program and its residential training in February. The requests focused on safe travel, enthusiasm for learning, and the benefit of that training for the men’s ministry.
The subsequent President’s letter describes the intensive and the mentoring that followed.
Remembering those under pressure
Supporters were asked to pray for protection, comfort, and perseverance for churches and families experiencing violence. The guide connected practical concern for others with prayer and faithful service.
This article records the requests shared for February 2026. Plans described here should be read alongside the later updates.
