Supporting / Financial Support
We come alongside churches and ministry institutions as they labor for the advancement of the gospel.
We provide support to pastors and ministry interns serving Reformed churches and church plants. Assistance may include salary support for a limited period, theological education and opportunities for further ministry training. This helps provide stability as congregations grow toward greater self-sustainability.
We help meet practical needs that strengthen churches and theological institutions. This may include initial facility rental for a church plant, outreach activities or improvements to seminary facilities. In 2022, LIT funded electrical and plumbing work for the Faculty Guest House at the Institute of Pastoral and Theological Training in Northern Nigeria.
When churches connected to our work face significant hardship, we consider requests for practical assistance in light of LIT’s mission and available resources. In 2024, this included food supplies for 34 families experiencing severe economic hardship. Such assistance is occasional and considered individually, with prayer and care.
