Lux in Tenebris uses this website to share ministry news, explain our work, and help people give or stay connected. This page describes how information is used here and the choices available to you.
Giving
Zeffy provides the embedded donation form. PayPal giving opens PayPal’s charity page. These providers process the information you choose to submit under their own privacy notices. LIT’s website does not collect or store your payment-card details. Questions about a gift can be sent to hello@litreformed.org.
Email updates
Our signup form uses MailerLite to manage LIT’s ministry updates. Information you submit through the form is sent to MailerLite. You can unsubscribe using the link in an email. Google reCAPTCHA helps protect the signup form from automated abuse.
Optional analytics
When enabled, Google Analytics helps us understand which pages people visit and whether they choose a giving, news, or contact link. Google Analytics loads only after you accept optional analytics. Declining does not prevent you from using the website, giving, or signing up.
Analytics may use cookies and process technical information such as browser and device information and approximate location. LIT’s tracking does not send names, email addresses, signup fields, payment details, or URL query strings and fragments to Google Analytics. We do not use Google Signals or advertising personalization. Choosing a giving link is measured as interest, not a completed donation.
Your analytics choice is remembered in this browser for up to six months. If accepted, analytics cookies are set for up to six months. You can change or withdraw your choice using Analytics preferences in the footer. Withdrawing stops further collection through LIT’s tracking and clears the analytics cookies this website can access. It does not erase information already received by Google.
LIT’s Google Analytics property retains event-level data for two months and user-level data for fourteen months. Some aggregate reports may be kept longer. Google’s privacy information explains its own processing and controls.
Optional analytics loads only after you accept. Use Analytics preferences to change or withdraw your choice.
Hosting and embedded services
Our hosting provider delivers and protects the website and may process technical request information such as IP addresses and security cookies. Giving and signup services may load before you make an optional analytics choice and may use cookies or similar technologies for their own functions. Your analytics choice controls LIT’s Google Analytics tracking, rather than these separate services. Their privacy notices explain how they use information.
Questions and requests
For questions about your information, the mailing list, or a request to access, correct, or delete information held by LIT, contact hello@litreformed.org. Please avoid sending payment-card details by email.
